About the stone

What Black Pearl looks like

Black Pearl gives you a dark benchtop for the price of a grey one. Its large grey-silver crystals catch the light with a soft shimmer, cooler and more silvery than the gold flecks of Black Galaxy.

It is a strong choice for renovations, rentals and laundries, and anywhere you want black without paying for premium Absolute Black.

Questions

Black Pearl granite questions

Straight answers on price, finishes, sealing and shipping.

01

What is the difference between Black Pearl and Black Galaxy granite?

Both are Indian black granites. Black Galaxy has small golden-copper flecks and costs more; Black Pearl has larger silvery-grey crystals and is the more affordable black.

02

How much is Black Pearl granite in Australia?

Australian yards list Black Pearl in their lower price band, up to about $300 per m² plus GST. Direct from us it is about $110–$160 per m² incl. GST for slab material.

03

Is Black Pearl granite good for kitchen benchtops?

Yes. It is hard, heat-resistant and low in absorption, and its pattern hides crumbs and water marks better than solid black.

04

How long does Black Pearl granite take to arrive in Australia?

Plan on 6–10 weeks from slab approval to arrival at your nearest port (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Fremantle or Adelaide), plus customs clearance and local delivery. Your written quote confirms the shipping schedule.
